Who we are
About us.
Black Apple Investments (Pty) Ltd is a 100% black youth owned Social facilitation and Research firm, championing social and local economic development through its unique offering. Against the backdrop of inequality in South Africa, we play an active role in ensuring that local communities are given a fair chance by corporates to participate in social and economic opportunities.
Established in 2014, our founders were set on building a company that is process and data driven, to ensure that our footprint in communities is proficient, measurable and effective. Our success to date is also owed to the unique expertise of our team members, whose experiences add to our mantra of being “one with our community”.
Black Apple Investments was the recipient of a national recognition award from Exxaro- Mega Projects, for having developed a technologically advanced and transparent recruitment application. Akhani RecruitmentTM App provides is a fair and transparent recruitment and vendor verification process which is currently utilized at three of Exxaro’s Mega Projects for the past four years to date.
